About Heron Hill Farm

Hi! We're Dan and Syd. We moved onto the farm December 2020.  Dan and I met in 2016 in a strange little town named Meaford, Ontario, while both still enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces. We fell in love after a few weeks of knowing each other and were married 8 months later! Dan and I share the common idea that everyone (animals included) are deserving of love and respect.  We believe in the proper stewardship of the earth to ensure that generations to come have abundant nature to enjoy.

Dan is a currently serving member of the CAF, and Syd is a part time practical nurse. Planted in spring of 2023 we have a small market garden, and 2,500 lavender plants.
